I flew from SFO to IST and back. It was the most awful flight I have ever flown. The flight attendants are rude and cannot communicate in in English. They give out this vibe that they are so disgusted with you. I am a quiet traveller and ask nothing special. But maybe being Asian is what it is. The return flight was worst. The flight attendants were worst. They ran out food and instead of being apologetic which I accepted without a complain. I was told curtly by this female attendant "sorry only beef !" I said jokingly "I was hoping for the pasta smiling" she just threw the food on my tray and with such an attitude " you can complain and you should have requested 24 hrs before" . Wow ! I held my temper. Dont fly this crappy airline. It was done to me I am sure it will be done to many others. The passengers across me heard this and said " why are you so stressed". We all just shook our heads all 6 of us. We were stared down by the attendants the rest of the trip. On stepping out of the plane we all smiled amongst ourselves and said to each other "last time". So there Turkish Airline how about posting this and addressing your rude flight attendance and terrible manners.

Turkish Airlines Review: OK ish airline, but needs attention to details
Value for Money
Turkish Airlines has a lot of room for improvement, that's for sure, but all in all this is a pretty decent airline with some refining needed around the edges. The food was quite good, with real utensils and complimentary wine, beer, and sports were much appreciated as were the multiple meals. In economy class you're also given a kit including slippers, socks, eye mask, toothbrush, toothpaste, and lip balm. Pillows and blankets of course are also provided. The flight crew was a bit inconsistent, some were very friendly and helpful while others were more gruff. I had one flight attendant stick his finger in my glass of wine to throw it in the rubbish before even asking if I was finished. There is in free flight screen at the individual seats with headphones provided, which is a good job as my tablet was confiscated and gate checked and there was no functioning wifi on the flight. Further the process of checking and obtaining your electronic devices at the luggage pick up adds a lot of time to the flight as I generally carry all my luggage on. There is really no advantage to carrying on it if you travel with an iPad, laptop, or Kindle, as it certainly doesn't save you any time. Turkish really should encourage people to check their electronics in their luggage and perhaps provide free wifi, guarantee them in the event of theft, or provide other perks for its international flights (and make sure it's working) as this was a significant impediment to my trip experience.
